Student Day 12

Day 12, by Enzo

(with a little help from Samira in the bus….)

In the morning we went to school and we made some posters about South Africa.

Then we went to The Chimpanzee Eden which is an institute for chimps who used to be mistreated by humans. They all have different, strange and sad stories. They are parked in three different spaces, closed by electric fences because they can be very aggressive and dangerous. Some of them threw mud, wooden sticks and rocks at us. It was a bit scary. Here are a few of their names: Charles, Lily, Jessica, Zee, Claude, Charly, Moogly.

After, we visited the Mbombela Stadium. It is a medium size stadium but it seemed quite impressive for us!!! The outside poles look like giraffes and the seats inside remind zebra skin. Our guide’s name was Jack. We have been to the VIP sections, the changing rooms, the fitness room, the conference room which can be rented.

Then we came back to school and our families picked us up.

I ate rice and beef with sauce and drank a cappuccino. It was delicious!!

I went to bed at 9pm.

I had a great time!

Students, day 8

Day 8 by Clément and Maxime

During the day we drove for three hours in the KrugerPark. We were very lucky because we saw three lions and a cheetah. We can now say that we have seen the BIG FIVE!!! We also saw more elephants, giraffes, Hippos, rhinos and crocodiles. The weather was sunny. We had lunch at Lower Sabie camp.  Then we got out of the park and we drove to White River. We arrived in the family at 7:30 pm.

When we arrived in our family, we put our luggage in our bedroom, and then we visited the house which is big. Then we played the box with Walter who is the son of our Host family. For dinner we had chips and chicken. In the morning we woke up at 6:00 am, we had breakfast and we got dressed to go to school at 7:10

Students day 7

Day 7 by Lorenza, Elsa et Burhanudinn

                 HELLO ,

This morning , we went to The Kruger Park. We saw a lot of animals (rhinos , elephants , giraffes). We saw 3 of the big five! We watched a documentary about elephants. Everybody was sleeping during the documentary because we woke up so early in the morning. LOL ! J Then we had lunch in a restaurant and we did some shopping. After that, we took the bus and we saw other animals. In the evening we helped to cook and we went to the swimming pool. For dinner we had a nice BBQ with salad. After dinner we played a game with the chaudron’s school. We had to pick an anonymous email from them and guess who wrote it by asking questions.

Bye Bye !

Day 7 kruger...

Day 7

Day 7 bushwalk

Day 7
Bush walk.

Students, Day 6

Day 6 By Loïc and Dorian

Today, we went to the bush. It lasted 3 hours. We saw the footprints

of a hippopotamus, a giraffe and a rhino; we saw many animals

rhinos, giraffes, a fish eagle, hippos and birds. The guide smelt and

touched the wee of a giraffe, ugly ! We spat impala’s poo, yuck!

Lorenza and Colean spat the furthest. In the afternoon, we went

shopping for the dinner competition. We ran everywhere, what a mess

to find the goods ! The dinner competition arrived, and the stress

too, we tried to keep calm and did the best we could !

The winners were: “the lemonade mouth” with Emilie, Camille,

Chloé from BDN and Julien, Lucas from Chaudron.

Congratulations!!!!
